HO Scale Cab Interior for Athearn EMD Loco

Description

This is a Basic cab interior made for Athearn EMD locomotives. This cab was designed after the cab of a Gp-35, and specifically made to fit in the Athearn RTR Gp35, but should fit in other Athearn RTR units. (GP: 15, 30, 35, 38, 39 standard cab, 40, 50)

The cab is made from a glossy PET-G plastic to look like the real thing. 

installation is easy all you need to do is remove the shell of the locomotive, then remove the cab housing, and glue the interior on to the shell of the locomotive. Some trimming may be required.

I recommend adding a cab interior to all your locomotives as it makes them more realistic!

Printing instructions 
 

This is a basic model that should work on all printers.

I do not recommend using AMS because it generates lots of waste for a small print. You could paint instead.

I recommend using a lighter color filament so you can see the interior through the windows.

PEI build plate was used

A1 0.2mm: 3 walls, 5% infill, normal quality

A1 0.4mm: 1 wall, 5% infill, high quality

Ender 3 0.4mm: 1wall, 5% infill, super quality, 75 mm/s, fan 100% (cura)
