***PLEASE CLEAN YOUR BED PROPERLY BEFORE PRINTING. DAWN DISH SOAP(Or Equivalent) AND HOT WATER THEN DRY WITH PAPER TOWEL OR AIR DRY!! NOTHING ELSE NEEDED!! THIS WILL ENSURE YOUR PRINT IS SUCCESSFUL***
## These models printed as shown but if you dont clean your bed properly and have adhesion issues, then you can add a brim or mouse ears. I test all my prints and it is proven to print as I set it up. ##
Super Jock 2.0 is a modern rendition of the retro “Super Jock” toys that perform a task after pressing down on their heads. This is an American Football Kicker that will kick a football or other objects when you give his head a quick push downward.
I designed this in tinkercad and worked hard on the mechanism to get him to function well. I will continue to improve the design if needed.
The mechanism requires one small rubberband that will stretch from front to back inside the torso and hook on the 2 hooks within, while aligning the band into the plunger channels at the bottom. (the rubber band can be hooked easily using the one open arm hole before gluing the shoulder pad into place I used some tweezers to assist and recommend using them to hook the rubber band)

The project is designed for most parts to print separately and then super glued into place.
The shoulder pads might be a bit rough on underside but you can clean them up pretty well with burring tool or snips.
ASSEMBLY
- slide plunger into torso from the bottom with post pointing toward kicking leg(side with notch at front)
- Hook rubber band to one of the inside hooks then stretch it around bottom of the plunger and using tweezers hook the rubber band to the other hook(you may have to try different size bands to find a good fit) then align the rubberbands into the channel as shown above.
- Insert the non kicking leg into the channel of the non kicking leg, it fits pretty tight so you may have to twist it a bit while pushing to get it all the way in.
- feed pin in slightly and place the thickest spacer/washer there in between the side and the kicking leg, slide kicking leg on, making sure the triangle part sits below the plunger post in the back side, place a thinner spacer/washer onto the pin on the other side of kicking leg and then continue pressing pin through the plunger and into the non kicking leg hole. You can try to put another washer before the non kicking leg hole but my big hands could not get it to stay. (i may design a clip on style spacer to make it easier) once pin is aligned through all the holes and flush with the side wall you can add a drop of super glue to the head of it to hold it in place.
- the right shoe has larger hole and may take some more twisting to get the shoe onto the leg(another snug fit)i added super glue into it before pressing it on, be careful not to break anything else while pushing, it takes a bit of force. the right shoe has 2 alignment holes on the bottom that should fit on the base with a snug fit i would add glue to the base nubs and around the base of the shoe as this one will support the whole toy and needs to be stronger.
- The left shoe fits pretty easily on the kicking foot just add a drop of glue
- glue the hands into the shoulder pads(the arm holes should be farthest away from the body and the arms should be glued facing front to back pretty much straight down. Test fit how it will look before gluing them to make sure they are oriented properly.
- when hands are dried you can glue the shoulder pads into place, then let dry
- The helmet should simply slide onto top of the neck/plunger
To kick the ball place it near kicking foot and give a quick push downward and if assembled correctly it will kick the ball.
DO NOT HIT IT TOO HARD OR IT WILL BREAK AS ALL THE WEIGHT IS HELD UP BY THE OTHER LEG
