Description

Oval Button Base Set - NEW for 2026

 

   All oval button bases are intended to be a glue together two-piece design; one base ring and one insert. The pieces can be used independently and as stand alone bases, though. Sizes included are all standard for most gaming: 60mm x 35mm, 75mm x 42mm, 90mm x 52mm, 105mm x 70mm, 120mm x 92mm and 150mm x 95mm. Each base insert is true to scale and 5mm in height, the base rings are slightly larger.

 

Instructions:

   In your slicer, separate the STL file into objects to modify the pieces.

 

NOTES: There is no need to glue the “inserts” to the base rings, it just offers more stability for movement and/or transportation. Drilling and magnetizing the inserts works just as well. All the bases can be sized up or down but may look a little odd if the sizing is not on a uniform scale.

 

Recommended settings:

.4 nozzle.

10% infill.

2 walls.

Layer height .08mm “extra fine” quality.

 

Optimal prints would require a .2 nozzle, 100% infill and .06 layer height. Is it worth the extra time and filament? In my opinion, no. But they are nice.

 

As always, let the bed plate completely cool down before removing the finished print piece. Warping may occur if removed while warm/hot.
