XL Bag Clip

Hello everyone!

INTRODUCTION

Following various requests both at home and elsewhere, I am publishing the second bag clip project, this time in XL format!!!

OBJECT

The model is faithful to the smaller version, as the living hinge has yielded excellent results in terms of resistance and elastic response.

This version introduces novelties; in addition to the dimensions 110mm x 12mm, when closed (the previous version was 78mm x 22mm when closed), resulting in a thinner and more slender shape. It also features an opening on the top to facilitate air escape during closing to minimize resistance during closing.

For the rest, all original settings have been maintained, such as the teeth for a better grip and the shape.

PRINTING

Printing is quite simple, supports are essential to ensure the clip is made correctly. They have been designed to be extremely easy to remove and to be as soft and compact as possible, given that the proposed shape is tree-like.

The chosen infill is adaptive cubic for printing speed reasons, as these are not objects that require particular compression forces.

The material I recommend is PETG because it is resistant, durable, and flexible enough. PLA can be used safely, gaining strength but losing flexibility.

There are 2 print profiles:

• the first for printing a single object; print time approximately 42 minutes
• the second for printing 3 objects simultaneously; print time approximately 1 hour and 52 minutes

CONCLUSIONS

The objects in the photo were made with a Bambu Lab P1S and Sunlu white PETG filament.
