Description

AMS 1 & 2 Pro Angled Table Stand - with drawer storage

See print profiles for model versions

I designed this stand to optimize my compact workspace. With one AMS unit already mounted on my printer, I needed a better solution for my second unit. Placing it flat on the desk caused the lid to hit the wall and wasted valuable space behind it. Plus, I was short on storage.

By angling the AMS forward, the lid opens more freely and eliminates that dead space. Elevating the unit also created room underneath for storage. After some 3D modeling, I came up with a sleek, functional stand that includes:

  • Two drawers, customizable with theme colors
  • Ventilation for both AMS vents
  • Rear cable management
  • Space-saving design, reclaiming around 70mm
  • Angled base for easier spool access
  • No hardware or additional fixings, just simple superglue
  • Multi-plate print for convenience
  • Material-efficient, using less than 1kg

This setup has made my workspace more organized and efficient. Hope it helps others too!
