Description
Many cars come without extra tray that fits mid center console above cup holders of 10th gen civic, now you can print one! Its simple sliding tray which you can use for keys etc..
The spring loaded slide edges are printed within the tray, so you will need good printer to handle cooling and tolerances and I strongly recommend to use PETG or better to resist car hot environment. After the print, slightly smash the sides to break-loose the springs and verify its free to move. Please note the springs are quite hard to make nice and snug fit.
To make sliding smooth, you will need to cover edges of spring loaded slides with textile tape as show in one of the images. The tape about 6-10mm wide will work fine.
When fitting in center console its a bit tricky, so use force and compress the springs or use hands to widen the top part of console to fit it within the upper rails that are above cup holders. No worries you will not scratch anything thanks to textile tape you used on sides.
The best material for print would be matte PETG (like bambulab petg-hf) however as they are out of stock I used just generic petg so its quite glossy - I sprayed one with deep matte black and looks also nice :)
