Description
This model is designed for arboreal ants, especially suitable for weaver ants. Printing parameters have been optimized. Do not modify the support part (hand-painted support)
You need to purchase PC tubes with an outer diameter of 70mm, a wall thickness of 2mm, and a height of 100mm, as well as an outer diameter of 60mm, a wall thickness of 2mm, and a height of 100mm. Also, a 60mm diameter, 1mm thick acrylic disc (very cheap, for the top)
Use a 65x3.5 rubber O-ring for sealing between the two PC tubes. After sealing, simply snap the printed parts onto both ends. (The pictures show the installation order)
After assembly, inject water into the interlayer through the small hole in the top cover, which is equivalent to the entire interlayer becoming an air humidifying water tower. Multiple small holes at the bottom can meet the ventilation needs of arboreal ants
Place this nest chamber in your preferred foraging area. The foraging area can be treated with an anti-escape barrier of 5000 mesh or finer
