is it possible to change the dimension of the part to 1cm width including the corners? leave everything 1cm width, 1cm thickness and variable length

Modify Z axis while conformed dimensions is turned off for thickness, X or Y for length once you have the right thickness

this is great, saves a lot of money. My only suggestion, as a finish carpenter myself, I would use 45 degree angles on the ends in place of the 180 degree angle (straight) we never but straight joints together
