This cheerful turtle is not just an eye-catcher, but also the perfect holder for your Amazon Echo Dot (5th Generation).
The speaker is simply placed into the turtle's back and sits securely there – making your Echo look like a cute turtle shell.
Perfect as a gift idea or to spruce up your own smart home setup

Features:

  • Suitable for Amazon Echo Dot 4th/5th Generation
  • Figure with a friendly face and detailed shell
  • Printed in two-color, silky glossy filament for a special look (e.g., Silk PLA Blue/Green)
  • Stable stand, no additional attachment needed

For the print, I set a variable layer height in the upper area to make the head look better

Note:
The model is specifically adapted for the Echo Dot 5. For other generations, the fit might not be perfect

Great result. I love the design, there was a problem during printing, the delete from the mouth did not hold. As a result, I sanded it to make it a tooth and it looks even better than the original 🤣. Thank you

Hello, I wanted to print the turtle too. After importing the file into the slicer, there was no notch on the shell for the echo. Where is my mistake? I have the Flashforge AD5X. Thank you and best regards Ivonne

Hello Yvonne, you have loaded the STL here, which includes the turtle as a whole. Again, the 3mf file was edited with the negative of the Echo dot, where the cutout can then be found

Thank you very, very much for the answer. It helped me a lot and I was able to start the print. I really downloaded the STL file. Now I know why other files also printed without opening. Unfortunately, I didn't get any help from anyone until now from you. I am new and am really happy now that I know where my mistake was. Schildi is currently printing :-) . If I could, I would give 10 stars here

no problem have fun with the print :) make sure that you always use the 3mf files these files contain everything that was set by the designer the number of walls the infill which supports sometimes also separately drawn supports this way you are on the safe side. An STL file is always just the raw data model and especially when you are not yet so familiar with it errors might occur or you will have unnecessarily long print times :)

It is truly beautiful ❤️ and a great model I had a lot of trouble removing the supports on the left between the leg and the armor You can see that in the picture But I attribute that to my inexperience with making various adjustments afterwards

Why? Where is the problem? I sliced it normally with Bambu Studio

I tried to print it with the FlashForge Adventurer 5M. But for one, it displays the design around the head differently than shown here and when slicing it does not get past 5% despite a long wait
