Description
Hi everyone! I’m a beginner in 3D modeling and printing, and this project was made on the third day after I got my printer.
I love my Sony ICD-UX570 voice recorder and often take it outdoors to capture all kinds of sounds, but I couldn’t find a suitable protective case—so I made my own.
Designed for
- Sony ICD-UX570 (approx. 10.2 × 3.6 × 1.2 cm)
- May also fit similar models such as the Sony ICD-UX560 (approx. 10.16 × 3.66 × 1.04 cm) with minor adjustments (print or add anti-vibration pads if needed).
Features
- Dual compartments
- Upper insert for earphones
- Lower compartment for quick one-hand removal without scratching the device
- Expansion-ready
- ~10 mm of extra space at the bottom for SD cards, mic cables, or other add-ons
- Two versions included in files
- Standard version (no hook) – clean look, fits well in bags and pockets
- Hook version – opening slot for attaching to backpacks, belts, or using as a stylish bag charm
- Durable connection
- Uses M3×20 metal screws for best strength (plastic screws are for reference only)
Important – Please Read Before Assembling
- Always use metal screws for final assembly—plastic screws are only for testing fit.
- Let all printed parts fully cool down before assembling. This is very important—assembling while parts are still warm can weaken the joints or cause cracks, directly reducing the case’s strength and durability.
Feel free to remix and improve this design—let’s make it even more practical and fun!
