Alien Artifact Light – Futuristic 3D Print
Bring a touch of mystery and sci-fi style to your space with this original alien artifact light design. Inspired by ancient relics and futuristic tech, this unique 3D print is perfect as a desk lamp, display piece, or prop.
Perfect for fans of sci-fi décor, cosplay props, and one-of-a-kind lighting pieces.
Two display options:
- Outer shell + inner shell – for a fully detailed, intricate artifact effect.
- Inner shell only – for a minimalist, glowing cuboid orb look.
Light Options
You have the option of 2 or 4 Lithothane LED Backboards to use. I would advise using 4 to get the full effect of light on all 4 sides
of the light. Parts are lsited
Assembly
Assembly is simple and requires some optional brass threads & A glue gun or superglue to retain the light boards. Basic instructions below or quick short video to give you an idea of how it assembles.
- Feed the Cable through the hole in the base, across the open channel, then into the central hole.

Connect the cable to one of the in series LED panels, then connect the rest as per instrctuions with light.

- Slot the 1st panel into the slot nearest the cable. Hot glue or glue in place.
- Insert M3 brass threads into the designated holes using a solder iron. (You can use self tap screws if needed)
- Cable retain with M3 brass threads and M3 screws
- Attached the rest of the LED panels
Clip on angled LED Board clips

- Glue the rest of the panels
Slide of inner sleeve (You can use this as a standalone light without the outer shell.

Slide over the outer shell.

Finish
- I used Basic Black filament for the base and outer shell
- I then used silver Rub n buff on the outer shell to give the metal look.
- You could use silver filament https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rub-buff-Silver-Trademark-UK00003085705/dp/B07SPHQSHQ/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=R3GQ0X3HKHQD&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.4fhxtnjJI4zWuave7x5iZxmkxN_K3Cl5vlBDtepferDY57_A5GfcBU-rFCoiDZ48ATxrWU2-0eprNu0pdsSsnGJf9nzPh8Uc6FB5av4weF6hQ6E5jY5cvvThHQi1fSlPNtDNPCl97blHzGOeXof6YoyHOzbR8yJHVRdIc-6xSSb556XaqccQ7Sd9oIetwoWhgUb_lKuZXfi9R8D2YbfA7NJ4BLK3AA40YCrwpZi8NAs9eQav4aj56SdNSR_XGtC00fRYu6M_nL4DyK7rwRU9QZSIBjYV2p_Zluk0ylqaQhc.o1nlbBYirBUDss-4IMAbQ-0SIYmk-QIMMSydRmINzh8&dib_tag=se&keywords=silver+rub+n+buff&qid=1755164156&sprefix=silver+rub%2Caps%2C112&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1
