Epic "Closest to the Pin" Golf Trophy ⛳🏆

Elevate your next golf outing, charity tournament, or backyard "Tiger Woods" challenge with this Epic "Closest to the Pin" Golf Trophy! Designed specifically for the maker community, this model captures the spirit of the game with a dynamic 3D-embossed golf ball, club, and celebratory stars. Whether you are playing for a green jacket or just bragging rights at the local club, this trophy is the perfect reward for that one-in-a-million shot.

Model Overview

This design features a sleek, oval-backplate silhouette with a pedestal base. The centerpiece is a high-relief golf club and ball mid-swing, surrounded by a constellation of stars to signify a "star" performance.

I have included two distinct versions for your printing convenience:

  1. The Plaque Version: Features a recessed area on the base, perfect for adding custom 3D text in your slicer or attaching a physical nameplate.
  2. The Smooth Version: A clean, minimalist base for those who want a faster print or a different aesthetic.

Need custom text added to the plaque? Hit me up! I’m happy to help you personalize this for your specific event.

Functional Use & History

"Closest to the Pin" is one of the most prestigious side-challenges in golf. Traditionally, these trophies are expensive, generic, and made of cheap plastic. I designed this model to give golfers a high-quality, customizable alternative that can be printed in silk gold, silver, or even multi-color for that professional "PGA" look. It was born out of a request for a local charity tournament where we needed something that looked premium but was accessible to everyone!

Remix Ideas & Expanded Use

While designed for golf, this model is highly versatile! Here are some ways you can remix or repurpose this file:

  • Hole-in-One Commemoration: Change the text to "Hole-in-One" for a lifetime keepsake.
  • Business Awards: Use the "Plaque" version for "Employee of the Month" or corporate sales goals (keyword: Office Decor, Achievement Award).
  • Desk Ornament: Scale it down to 50% for a fun paperweight or desk toy (keyword: Golf Gift, Man Cave Accessory).
  • Multi-Color Mastery: This model is perfect for the AMS! Color the ball white, the grass green, and the stars gold for a stunning visual.

Multi-Color Printing Tips

Since this model looks incredible in color (as seen in the CAD renders), you’ll want to make sure your settings are dialed in.
