Description

Summary

This is an insert for the board game Challengers!, its standalone-expansion Challengers! Beach Cup, and all promo items as of August 2025. The insert supports sleeved cards (Gamegenic Prime Matte pictured), vertical storage, and has 6 collapsible card trays to replace those that come with the game. The parks neoprene playmats do not fit in the box and must be stored separately. More specifically:

Compatibility

✔️ Expansions

This insert support the following expansions:

✔️ Sleeves

All cards fit sleeved. I've used Gamegenic Prime Matte sleeves for all cards, including the trainers. This means that I am not using the side-by-side, green-backed sleeves provided in Beach Cup.

➖ Card Trays

The blue A, B, and C card trays included in Challengers! and Challengers! Beach Cup do not fit with this insert. Instead, I have remixed glenobie's parametric card deck tray which easily disassembles to pack flat. 6 of these trays fit in the insert. I have provided A, B, and C variations each with the option for “Draw” or “Discard”.

❌ Parks Playmats

The park playmats will not fit with this insert. I instead use hangers with metal clips to hang the mats in my game closet. This is how I store all playmats. The added benefit is the mats are nice and flat when it comes time to use them, instead of curling on themselves when they were previously rolled in the box.

If you use Dragonshield Clear Matte, don't bother printing this unless you're capable of modifying it. I printed the Challengers 2 card rack as a test, and each section is just barely too small to hold all the cards, except for the rainbow one which has a good deal of extra space.

Awe no! I’m sorry about that. I used Gamegenic Prime sleeves. It looks like the Dragonshield ones are about 20-30 microns thicker. I know there is some extra space in the design - were you able to make adjustments for this to work?

Replying to @nikmd23 :
No worries. I'm new to 3D printing so I haven't learned much about modeling yet, but I'll give it a shot at some point.

@nikmd23 You did all right. You said which sleeves you are using in the model, the rest is our job as printer to verify if your sleeves are too thick or not. It's an easy task to google, if your sleeves have the same thickness or not.

You can write the publisher an email. Most of the time, if they see something like your fantastic model, they send you a free promo to support this type of community work for their product.
