"T Fuel" Drink Powder Scooper w/ Funnel and Plug

All printers should work with all profiles so long as the parts fit on your bed size; sometimes Makerworld doesn't play nice. Try downloading them regardless and edit as needed.

The Makerworld time estimate will vary based on which printer you use.

I needed a scooper for my drink powder, so I made it! I also designed a TPU travel plug! You can print that individually or together. See the profiles above. I also have a model page just for the travel plug if you'd like, see here!

What is “T Fuel” though? Nothing really, just thought it sounded like a cool name for a drink powder. Someone should make that a real thing! T stands for “Timmy,” of course.

Print settings:

• I have only tested my scooper model on the X1C with a 0.4mm nozzle, using Bambu PLA Translucent Light Jade (13510), PETG Translucent Light Blue (32600), and PLA Basic Blue (10601). PLA Translucent turned out the best for me.
• One profile type utilizes PETG HF Gray (33101) for the support interface layer to assist in the removal of support. See that link for details.
• I have only tested my plug with the same printer and settings, using Polymaker PolyFlex TPU95.
• If you try it out, let me know how it goes!
• You will need to dry out your filament and store it correctly for optimal printing. I have set the profile up to work for my prep work and setup, but please see resources online for your chosen filament type, and adjust your print/filament settings as needed!

How to use:

• The funnel at the top of the scooper is designed to fit upside-down into a standard water bottle drink hole.
• A typical powder drink's powder should be filled up to the line where the cylinder meets the funnel. It holds approximately 1 tablespoon at this line. About 1.5-1.75 tablespoons to the brim of the funnel.
• The travel plug goes in with the handle opposite the scooper handle, and with the leash tied to the slot in the scooper handle. See instructions below, and/or pictures.

How to assemble the plug to a scooper:

Note: Pictures shown using 1 hand, but it's easier using 2 hands. It's meant to be slightly difficult to assemble, so that it's not easy for it to come undone on its own. It's really not that bad though :)

1. Pass the end of the leash upward through the scooper slot.

   

2. Align the nub on the end with the ring.

   

3. Start to push the nub through the ring. I've found this is easiest by pushing down the long end of the leash where it meets the ring, as shown.

   

4. Push down on the ring with 2 thumbs (1 illustrated below, lol) so that the nub pokes all the way through.

   

5. Celebrate!

   

   

    

How to disassemble the plug from the scooper:

1. Using the side of one thumb, push up on the handle. It should pop out with a nice sound, easily!

   

2. Do NOT pull on the leash, this could lead to tearing over time. Instead, push the ring around the nub. 2 thumbs may work best.

It is not known if printed filament is officially (generally) food-safe. Typically, filament on a spool is safe on its own, but once it's printed, it may be contaminated from traveling through a PTFE tube, extruder system, the nozzle, and more. Additionally, imperfections and gaps between print layers can potentially house dangerous bacteria, etc., and not be cleanable once used. If any models I provide are printed and used for food/eating/drinking, I advise that they be thoroughly washed and dried after printing/before using, and ultimately be considered a 1-time use item.
