Hi, I wanted to get back into exercising a bit more and as a start for that, I first sat on my butt for 2 hours and designed something... Push up bars, so that my CAD-weakened wrists don't suffer too much during an intense workout Also, I really wanted to try out multi-material printing with the H2D To prevent the parts from slipping, I incorporated TPU feet, but don't worry, a one-piece version for easy printing is included in the profile The bar and the receptacle in the side parts are conical and need to be forced in with a little pressure, but after that they hold even without glue (for me)

Have fun printing

seems like a bad way to get cut or break something

You could really hurt someone with these rods ;) If you want, place 100mm wide beams (hand width) on both of them and then drive over them with my car That should exert more than ten times the load So, as of now, I can say that you can comfortably do push-ups on a single rod with 80kg, and the rods will easily withstand that

I printed very similar ones with PETG and have been using them for a year now, PETG doesn't usually break but bends, in case of collapse it's less dangerous than PLA and obviously also more resistant

Love how these turned out. I used PLA-CF for the parts. I also have the flat part angled one for a more comfortable feel when gripping.

careful with using CF filaments for something you’ll be gripping. These filaments release micro fibers that will stick to your skin. Have a look on YT videos on this. Just a friendly warning

this model was incredibly well designed and printed amazing. it was able to easily support me while doing inclined pushups at 130 pounds. but I do wish I had cooler filament colors.

Its a great model, but u shouldnt be proud because is the Push Up Bars from Stag 3D, you took the model and change it so it looks like yours. Very cool but dont lie people.

How did you come to that conclusion I just looked at the model you're referring to Aside from the honeycomb patterns on the side which almost every technical model uses and the fact that it has two side pieces and a rod it's a completely different model Unfortunately I don't have the skills to download a model from here and modify it like that in Blender 😅

no, its not the honeycomb, its the same triangle, literally the same one but u added the tpu things, It doesnt mind, i just was bored, didnt want to annoy u. At least ur PC can hold blender ;)

The triangle just seemed most suitable to me, how else could I have made it sensible, square?😅 I simply made the side lengths as I liked them best. Oh, it's all good, I understand you. My PC can open Blender, I just unfortunately can't operate Blender 😅
