MDT Presence Detector MR16 Housing

I made this case to mount a presence detector to the ceiling of my workshop. I made the case a bit higher so the sensor can “see” below the other things hanging from the ceiling.

Printing

Print the case and three of the clips, with the following settings.

• 0.25mm layer height
• concentric top/bottom surface
• 15% cubic infill
• no supports

Assembly

Attach the three clips to the knobs at the bottom of the case (you might need to add some glue). Then push the detector from the bottom in the case, attach the KNX cables and mount it to the ceiling.
