This Lazy Susan project is designed to bring effortless rotation to your projects, displays, or everyday use. Whether you’re showcasing an item, serving food, or working on a hobby, its smooth and stable motion makes everything more convenient and enjoyable.
Project description
The table has a 200 mm diameter top and a triangular base with 130 mm sides. For smooth, even movement, it uses four ball bearings – one central bearing for the main axis and three evenly placed at the corners of the base for extra stability and load distribution. Designed for 3D printing and easy assembly, this model is perfect for makers who value both function and simplicity.
Printing
- The plate has a subtle cross marking to help align it with the central bearing during assembly.
- Print seams are set to random to avoid a repeating seam that could cause bumps during rotation.
- The sloped surface that contacts the three corner bearings should be lightly sanded and the seams smoothed – this improves rolling contact and prevents wobbling.
- Printing time with a 0.20 mm layer height and 10% infill (lines) is about 3h 40min on a Bambu Lab P1S, due to the plate’s large diameter.
- Total printing time for all parts is approximately 4h 52min.

This Lazy Susan, thanks to its bearings, rotates easily and smoothly for presentations, but primarily for primer spraying.

For smooth and even operation, it uses four ball bearings – one central for the main axis and three evenly placed at the vertices of the base for greater stability and load distribution. The model is designed for 3D printing and easy assembly, ideal for creators who appreciate both functionality and simplicity.
Printing
- The plate has a marked cross to make it easier to center when mounting on the bearing.
- Seams are set to random – this prevents the creation of one long line that could cause skipping when rotating.
- The sloped surface that contacts the three bearings should be lightly sanded and its seams smoothed – this improves the rolling effect and prevents the plate from wobbling during rotation.
- Printing time with a 0.20 mm layer height and 10% infill (lines) is approximately 3h 40min on a Bambu Lab P1S printer, which is due to the plate’s large diameter.
