Description
1:25 Scale Specialized Stumpjumper MTB Frame – Fully Functional Suspension
This is a 1:25 scale model of the 2021 Specialized Stumpjumper Alloy full-suspension MTB frame.
Just like the real thing, the FSR/4 bar/horst link suspension linkage is fully functional, so you can see how the rear shock and pivots work in action. The shock is two parts with a spring inside. I used a spring with a 6mm diameter, but it also works without a spring.
The model comes with a display base featuring contrasting raised 90s reminiscent lettering to proudly showcase your mini masterpiece.
Hardware Used:
- Linkage is assembled with 7 × M3×5 bolts and 4 × M4×5 bolts
- I personally used M4×20 bolts and cut them down to size
- Suspension motion feels just like the real bike (minus the downhill adrenaline)
Note: This is a scale model for display and mechanical demonstration purposes only. It cannot be scaled up to print yourself a mountain bike… although that would be pretty awesome.
