Description

These c-channels can be easily screwed in anywhere and can be very versatile for a variety of projects.

Our specific project was a vertically sliding window in our deer blind. This makes opening and closing the window much quieter so you can stay warm during harsh weather without startling your prey.

It's not shown yet in the photos, but we are adding a pulley system above the window, and the end of the rope will have a small sandbag to it can stay open.

These 3 channels have been designed to work with 3mm thick plexiglass sheets. Our plexiglass sheets have felt pads stuck to the left and right side so that it can slide more quietly. I mention this because the thickness of the c-channel accounts for this added thickness of the felt padding.

Printing more at once:
I've arranged the print plate to only do 2 at a time, but the pieces are 10 inches long so you can aligned a bunch of them vertically/horizontally on the build plate if you'd like to print larger batches at once.
I don't recommend this because I have issues with longer shaped prints warping/peeling off the plate prematurely (Hence the reason I added the brim to the sliced file)

However, my A1 printer is not enclosed, and I have it in a cold basement so that is likely the main cause for my issue. Maybe you'll have better luck printing more at once👍

I hope you find this print useful.
Happy printing!
