Hi 3D printing community and BMW E34/E32 drivers,
This is a new interpretation of a cup holder for the BMW E32 or E34.
There is a similar model of this cup holder, but I created it from scratch. The most important changes are: one cup holder is larger and can therefore hold larger drinks than just soda cans. It was also designed large enough to fit an iPhone (tested with iPhone 10 and 16 including a case). Furthermore, two additional holes were added for pens, straws, etc. Finally, the lower support was extended and provided with an insert so that it fits under the center console, thus securing the cup holder and making it much more stable.
I have uploaded the files both as a complete model and as a three-part version. For the three-part version, three additional melt inserts (M3) and three M3x8mm screws are required.
The pictures show the version in three parts, as I didn't need the actual cup holders to adjust the support.
Please note, this is a first version and can certainly be improved. Feel free to let me know if you have any suggestions.
