Up-Down Tolerance Test & Fidget Toy
Print Profile(1)

Description
Shake it. Press it. Watch it pop!
This two-piece fidget cylinder combines printer tolerance testing with a fun little kinetic twist.
The design features:
- An outer cylinder with an opening
- A smaller inner cylinder (same height, narrower diameter) that fits inside
- Internal stop tabs that keep the inner piece from falling out
- Smooth sliding action that lets the inner piece bounce when shaken
How it works:
Push from one side and the inner cylinder peeks out the other. Shake it up and down, and it pops back and forth like a mini pogo stick — all without springs.
Perfect for:
- Checking if your printer can handle tight millimeter tolerances
- Stress relief between prints
- Impressing friends with a "printer test" that’s secretly a toy
🖨️ Print Notes
- Print-in-place: No supports needed
- Works best with 0.15–0.2mm layer height
- Keep tolerances tight for a satisfying “pop” — loosen for smoother motion
- PLA recommended for first test, but PETG/ABS works for more durability
- No assembly required — just print, pick it up, and start bouncing
