Description
This is a repair for the 3rd brake light for 1st generation Ford Explorers
The collar will slip over the existing terminals and hold the bulb in place if the plastic tabs have broken off the original socket.
We used LED lights in our replacement, but the original style bulbs should work as well.
NOTE: if the clips are semi-attached, you will have to remove them for this solution to work.
