Hi! I'm excited to present the largest submarine in the world, a floating nuclear superpower: Project 941 Akula “Dmitry Donskoy.”

This model features moving missile hatches and functional rudders.

You can scale it to your preferred size by uniformly scaling all parts using this formula:

S = (500 × 100) ÷ X

Where:

-S = scale you enter in your slicer

-X = your desired real-world scale (e.g., 1:700 → X = 700)

Edit:

  • Added R39 SLBMs

How do you get the front dive planes to retract. Mine seem to be stuck and I dont want to force it.

Replying to @user_4091822067 :
They were fused a little - I just gently held both sides of the plane and wiggled back and forth the smallest movement til they freed up.

Scaled it to 1:600 and it is such a great print. I skipped the parts with the ballistic rockets and the ship name (for me, this will impersonate the "Red October") and it just looks awesome. Red and Black Bambu Filament on H2D. Just did adaptive Layer Height on the Three big pieces, rest is as it is. Looks really stunning :)

This is legitimately one of the coolest things I’ve ever printed! It looks great and printed very well too. This deserves way more exposure!

Hello, superb file and magnificent detail. 5 stars !!!! I just have a problem with my P2s and the rockets... And I can't manage, despite various attempts, to fix this problem

came out great, much easier than another model I was trying with 70 odd individual parts. used the stand from the other model.

Thanks! I might actually make it because it's very similar to the Typhoon class.
