Description
I recently gotten my hands on the it's FPV ERA frame and decided to build my own set of boots.
There are 2 options, a lighter one and a heavier one. I personally use the lighter one and just print more of them. But you can use the stronger one, but I havn't tried that one yet :)
The screws are well protected by TPU too (see the pictures for more)
No supports required. There is some bridging, should be fine :) There will be a sacrificial layer that you put your screw through. It is just there avoid having supports.
I use 10mm socket head screws.
Updates:
- 27th August 2025:
- Made the boots 1mm higher to give the bottom plate screws some protection.
- Added some fillets around the edges where the boot meets the bell protection to improve strength.
- Raised the bottom chamfer a bit higher to combat the added weight by making them 1mm higher.
