Project Screw Clamp for all Printer Types.

In the design, the main focus was not only on functionality and stability, but also on the screw clamp being very easy to print without prior knowledge.

Advantages:

  • well-thought-out design thanks to active practical use
  • all parts can be printed without support material.
  • there is a suitable rail length for every printer type.
  • extremely easy assembly! Parts are inserted and lock themselves
  • ball plates compensate for unevenness and non-parallel planes

Function and Design:

  • the clamp rail deliberately does not have a right angle but is inclined 2° inwards, so that it almost reaches a 90° angle again when the screw is tightened.
  • Even if it goes below or above a 90° angle, this is no problem at all, as the spindle plate is mounted in such a way that it compensates for slopes and unevenness.
  • The grooves on both sides of the clamp rail provide additional stiffening while keeping the overall height low.
  • Spindle and spindle plate are reinforced in the hollow space, so that they have increased stability (especially at the transitions) and do not break.
  • The pressure plate is simply inserted onto the clamp rail into the two guide grooves and locks securely and firmly with a click.
  • After the spindle has been screwed through the spindle bracket, the spindle plate is pressed from above with the ball into the spindle until it clicks into place and can rotate freely.
  • Quick adjustment by slightly tilting the spindle bracket
