Description

Simple clip/shield for the X1/X1C LED bar to fix the purple hue/light bleed that is visible on the left side of the camera feed in live view/time lapses. Provided to me by Bambu Lab directly after opening a support ticket and I can't seem to find it listed anywhere online yet so I thought I'd share. Only takes a couple of minutes to print.

UPDATE
Please ensure your printer even needs this part. It has been reported by users in the comments that their printer came with this shield built-in. My printer was made in Dec 2022 and did not come with one (obviously) but a user has reported the shield was in place from the factory on their printer that was made in Oct 2023.

I have also added a second model (and print profile) with a slightly deeper recession to allow the clip to grip the light bar slightly tighter as people were asking if the clip should stay on without glue. The original has been working fine on mine but the modification was easy and options are always nice to have.

the print is great but not necessary for newer x1c‘s. newer means about 3rd quater 2023.

printing was not a problem. but the printed part has the same size like the lamp. i mean the cover of the lamp has the same size. are there different models of x1c?

Hmm... Not as far as I'm aware, unless Bambu Lab changed their lightbar for some reason (which I doubt). So you're saying the lightbar won't fit into the recessed side? Are you sure you tried it in the correct orientation with the curved side facing toward the print bed and the notch facing down like in the pic of my install?
