Description
This is my first model - I wanted to get the Panda Touch I2C connector working so I can see the chambers temperature/humidity from the display. Unfortunately they still haven't released a product to enable this function, so following this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/comments/1hk8ojs/panda_touch_i2c_temp_and_humidity_working/ I got it working, but it left the module dangling in the chamber so I wanted to make something to house the HiLetgo AHT20 BMP280 Sensor so it wasn't just dangling in my P1S.
The tolerances are a tight to get a really snug fit. You might have to adjust for your printer settings. Use a filament appropriate to your chamber temperatures. If you're printing ABS/ASA/PA6 you'll need to use filament that can withstand that temperature.
Assembly is straight forward, simply put the module into the base, I have included 2 guide pins that can be used in two ways. You can either melt them down to make a permanent fixture, or let the snug fit + guide pins hold the module in place. Simply slide down the cover to help hide the connector, and allow airflow around the sensors. Attach it anywhere in your printer with double sided tape, etc. I have not tested mounting with a magnet due to the sensitive nature of the module.
P.S. With the module you'll have to re-pin it to match the Panda Touch pins, doing so you should also extend the wiring to it so you can place it freely, but this is completely up to you, and how you want to mount it.
Any suggestions or remixes would be great, would love to see what the community adds or changes to my first ever model.
Thanks for looking!
