Description

This is an aquarium top for an Aqueon 5.5 gallon fish tank. The top includes a removable hatch cover for feeding and a cutout for the filter - the cutout is 135 x 45 mm). The top is split and printed on two plates. The pieces fit together with a dovetail. I print mostly with a .6mm nozzle so the printed version in the pictures is based on the .6mm profile. A .4mm nozzle profile has also been uploaded.

This is a great idea, my top is warped and the LED just went out. I was gonna buy a new top but now I might print one. I have a 5 gallon, can this be scaled down?

Yes this could be scaled down. The print profile is on 2 plates so you would just need to make sure that each half was scaled down by the same percentage so that the halves line up. Thanks!

if you make the food cover a circle it can never fall through. also make to so that you can slide a piece of filament and hinge it.

perfect fit aqueon standard glass rectangle aquarium 5.5 gallon tank, but aware those add-on on the tank you will need to modify into what you need, thanks for the model sharing
