Description

The bracelet in the chainmail style does not connect its individual elements through fixed structures. I attempted to create fibrous interlocking structures by using thin, free-floating bridges to give the band higher flexibility.

The STL was printed with the following scaling for my wrist circumference (approx. 200mm):

  • Length: 200%
  • Width: 190%
  • Height: 150%

It looks a bit messy on the inside but holds up and has its charm, just like a textile. ;-)

BUT its a super-duper fidget toy!

Update V3:

same scaling
improved clasp on the bracelet with security pin

improved Adjustments to the fibrous bridge structures to reduce sticking

What's up with the clasp. I printed this out and can't close the clasp. the "male" end of the clasp is too large to fit into the other side, and also the little ball on the end broke off. So disappointed. Can you fix this? Thank you.
