Description
What wizard doesn't want at staff with a crystal? Well here ya go. This is made to be mounted on a standard ¾" pvc pipe (outside diameter of just over 1" (26.75mm) so you can make the staff as long as you want. The octagonal cone will accommodate the Bambu RGBW puck light which comes with a remote so its perfect for mystifying your peasant friends. The main cylinder sits on the cone and has twist-lock pins that keep it in place. The 4 “blades” slide into the slots on the perimeter of the cylinder. The “crystal” just slides into place inside the cylinder.
The Bambu RGBW Puck light is not terribly bright but it does give you several light options depending on which color crystal you print. I found that using the transparent blue PLA with the puck light set to green created a very cool effect.
Everything except the crystal is PLA and will require standard tree support. The crystal can be made from any transparent PLA or PETG. The crystal does not need support and I used 1 wall loop to make the light shine brighter. Everything was .2mm layer height
