Description

Peranakan Jewel/Organizer Box

Compatibility Notice:
This model can be printed on the following machines: A1 Mini, A1, P1S, P1P, X1C, H2D.
The size is optimized so that it will just fit on the A1 Mini’s build plate.

Versions & Print Profiles:
Since Makerworld currently doesn’t allow uploading both 3D and laser files in a single model, I have created several print profiles:

  • A1 Mini – optimized for maximum build volume usage.
  • A1 to X1C – optimized for larger printers.
  • H2D – for the largest build size.
  • Laser file – contains only the parts to be cut with a laser, which are then combined with the 3D-printed parts.

👉 You can find the laser files in the Laser Files section of my profile.
Simply download the appropriate file and open it in Bambu Studio Suite (.LAC file).

No laser? No problem! If you’d still like the wooden version, you can find it here – I’ve got it available for you.

Two Main Versions:

  • 3D-print-only version – all windows, ornaments, and patterns are 3D-printable; no wood or cork needed.
  • Laser combination version – print the main structure in 3D and decorate it with separate laser-cut parts.
This version includes additional intricate drawer patterns not available in the pure 3D version.

Assembly Tips:

  • Lightly glue the wood and 3D-printed parts together for maximum stability.
  • Designed to be placed between books – keeping the jewelry drawers elegantly hidden.
  • Inspired by the traditional Peranakan house style (with a slightly modified roof).

Extras:

  • The lighting in the upper section is from Maker Supply – Lamp Kit MH001 (link at the bottom of the description).
  • The images show 5 different insert designs for the drawers, each with highly detailed patterns.

In short:
The Peranakan Jewel Box creatively combines 3D printing and laser-cutting techniques.
Perfect as a jewelry box, collector’s piece, or decorative shelf item – with maximum detail in both versions.
