Designed for makers of all skill levels, I developed three different versions to suit whatever tools and installation preferences you have:
- Press-Fit Version: Perfect if you want a quick, clean solution without screws. Simply use a heat gun to gently warm the 3D-printed fix, then press it into the tube. The fix will expand as it cools, ensuring a tight and secure fit.
- Self-Tapping Screws Version: Position the fix on the tube and secure it using self-tapping screws for reliable reinforcement.
- M4 Screws + Threaded Inserts Version: Use M4 threaded metal inserts so you can easily attach and detach the fix whenever needed.
For increased strength and durability, the model is printed diagonally, which provides better resistance to stress during use. However, if you prefer, you can also print it vertically, which should still be sufficient for regular use.
