ABS pipe adapter for AC5000 Acetech chronograph

This adapter allows you to mount an Acetech AC5000 chronograph on a 2" diameter ABS pipe for Airsoft FPS/Joule measurement and keeping the BBs under control.

I used a roughly 3ft long straight section, added a wide elbow, and another ft of straight section and a screw-on end-piece (which will allow you to clear out any BBs). Of course, you can use a different design and length, as long as you use 2" diameter piping. you can also add a soft rubber piece in the elbow and the end-piece to further slow down the BB. The elbow should ensure that BBs don't get projected back into the chronograph.

I highly recommend permanently gluing the plumbing pieces and the adapter together with plumbing cement so that the risk of a gap where the BB can fly through is minimized (safety first!!!). Don't glue in the chronograph. Always wear proper Airsoft Eye Protection when operating the chronograph and pipe & adapter!
