Some filaments are not as translucent as others For example, Anycubic Pla+ in White does not let any light through at all, but the normal Anycubic PLA in White is very translucent. This is the filament that I use for all my lampshades, which can also be seen in the pictures

Did you thoroughly clean your print bed beforehand (dish soap and water) I had no issues with print bed adhesion Maybe printing with brim helps I'd be happy to upload a version with brim if you want to try again :)
