Description
Picoreplayer with a 3.5 inch raspberry pi touchscreen and a rotary encoder.
Picoreplayer is a player for LMS (Lyrion musicserver AKA logitech mediaserver)
Parts used:
- Raspberry Pi model 2b (every model should work and fit)
- 3.5" tft touchscreen as hat for the pi (3.5inch RPi LCD (A) - Waveshare Wiki Aliexpress)
- I2S soundboard (see photo, link)
- KY-040 rotary encoder (search on AliExpress)
- Since my Pi does not have wifi, used a wifi dongle
- a home made Microusb to usb-c cable

connect I2S dac to pi:
VCC → 5v Pin 2
GND → GND Pin 3
LRCK → GPIO19 Pin 35
DATA → GPIO21 Pin 40
BCK → GPIO18 Pin 12
connect rotary encoder to pi:
GND → GND Pin9
+ → 3.3v Pin1
SW → GPIO5 Pin 29
DT → GPIO6 Pin 31
CLK → GPIO13 Pin 33

Pad are labeled, just carefully solder 4 wires (Red = 5V Black=GND Green = D+ and White = D-)
