Description

Update Jan 12, 2026

The dots are now numbered to make it easier to figure out which hole it belongs to, and also determine the correct orientation. See the model pictures for an example.

Description

This mushroom toy comes apart into smooth, colorful pieces. Each piece fits onto a sturdy central pole and spins gently as it slides down. Once all the pieces are stacked, they form the complete mushroom.

The toy encourages fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and cause-and-effect learning, while its simple, baby-friendly design makes it easy for small hands to grasp and stack. Tons of fun for babies, toddlers, children, and even adults!

Printing details

  • Each dot only fits into one hole, in a specific orientation, so make sure you've got the right hole before gluing! See the model pictures for an example.
  • The AMS profile will give a cleaner look, but will take a lot more time and filament.
  • The non-AMS profile has a pause inserted to change the color from red to off-white (I used Bambu's bone white matte PLA) for the bottom part of the mushroom head.
  • If any parts do not spin freely, then manually spin the piece up and down the pole a few times until it spins on its own.
