KYZ HSW C Clamp/Vise Grip Display

This remix adds a significant modification to the stand's base, incorporating a fully adjustable vise grip. The new design includes two different-sized vise grips, both of which are adjustable via a screw. The grips offer gaps of 50 mm and 75 mm, with a depth of just under 60 mm (59 mm).

This feature is particularly beneficial for vendors who want to display items to customers in a clean, organized manner. The vise grips securely holds the stand in place, eliminating the need for tape, Velcro, or other temporary fastening methods.

The original stand's design for the HSW display remains intact, and this remix will still fit KYZ's original HSW board.

Update V2 December 12 2025: Heavy-Duty Redesign & Modular System

This V2 update brings a complete structural overhaul based on stress analysis, making the clamp significantly stronger and the entire system fully modular.

1. Engineered for Strength (No more snapping):

• Reinforced Spine: The clamp now features a massive triangular gusset connecting the neck to the body. This shifts the fulcrum point and effectively neutralizes the lever-arm forces that typically snap printed clamps.
• Solid Foundation: The "female" receiver slot on the stand has been thickened with a 3mm solid slab at the base. This ensures the outward pressure from the dovetail won't split the bottom of the stand.
• Smoother Operation: Added "ease-in" chamfers and fillets to all mating surfaces. The clamp now slides in smoothly without binding on sharp corners.

2. Fully Modular & Optional: The new Vise Grip / C-Clamp is now a completely independent module.

• You do not need to print this if you only want the stand.
• Interchangeable: Because it uses a standardized dovetail fit, you can keep the main HSW stand and simply swap out the base clamp if you move to a table with a different thickness. No need to reprint the whole display!

3. Material & Printing Recommendations (Read this!):

• Material: I highly recommend printing the Screw and the Male Clamp in PETG.
  • Why: PLA is stiff but brittle; when it fails under clamping pressure, it tends to snap suddenly. PETG has higher ductility (stretch), allowing it to flex slightly under load and giving you a "warning" bend before it breaks.
• Orientation: Print the Clamp module on its “Back” This aligns the layer lines with the stress, making the neck nearly unbreakable.
