Antiparallelogram Gridfinity Lidded Bins
Print Profile(3)

Description
This Gridfinity bin requires no support, glue or fasteners. It features a print-in-place linkage that allows the lid to flip open all the way (270 degrees of rotation). This lets it stably sit on a table with the lid fully open. This special hinge is made possible with a clever linkage called an antiparallelogram. This linkage simulates the motion of rolling ellipses, which is what allows the lid to roll over the back of the bin.

Sizes
The single bin is 42 mm tall (6 U). Double bins are 84 mm tall (12 U).

Assembly
- Gently loosen all of the joints.
- Keeping the lid flat on a table, tip the box backwards and press down hard on the inside of the box until the snap fits click in place.

Troubleshooting
This design uses 0.2 mm clearances between moving parts. This is very tight for some printers. If you have issues with frozen joints, switch to the looser clearance print profile or modify the XY contour compensation setting with a value of -0.05 mm.
