Description

Introduction

Been learning to play the drums, and got to a point where I needed a holder for my sticks, so I put this together. It can fit a variety of post sizes and the angle can be adjusted as you need.

I printed mine in PETG-HF, but you should be able to print it in whatever you'd like.

Featured Filaments:

Bambu PETG-HF Gray

Bambu PETG-HF Black

Hardware:

6 M3x30mm Machine Screws (Like these ones from Amazon

6 M3 Nuts (Like these ones from Amazon)

5 M3 washers (Like these ones from Amazon)

You can get all the hardware through the Maker's Supply too, or you can purchase a variety pack from Amazon (Like this one) which will include all the needed screws, plus extra screws and everything for other projects. If you get a variety pack, just make sure it has 30mm lengths. While you can use different sizes for attaching it to the post, the screws for the knob and to attach the tube to the bracket are all modeled to use a 30mm m3 screw.

Assembly Instructions

For the main knob, we'll insert a M3x30 screw and secure it in place with a M3 Nut. Tighten this down nice and tight!
We'll attach the main tube to the bracket. Make sure to use a washer, and don't over tighten the screw at the pivot point. We want it to rotate smoothly. Use a M3 Nut and the Knob assembly from the previous step to secure things in place and at the desired angle.
Now we'll attach it to the post. It'll be helpful to insert the M3 nuts before hand, and then using the 4 M3x30mm screws and washers to secure everything in place. And that's it!

Replying to @Asiavik :
I mean it could totally hold a churro. Probably a little small though if you wanted it to hold something like a burrito or subway sandwich. Hmm, although it could also be ideal for holding sticks of beef jerky.

Came out great! Might switch the M3 bolts to use wingnuts because tightening this down was not fun... but it probably won't move much anyway 😂

The tube is a little longer than usual drumstick tubes like this. Cutting it around 3” will still do you fine, and will save you $ on the Filament and time printing it. Lastly, 4 wingnuts are the way to go on one side of the clamp, as it’s faster for adjustments and/or putting it on a stand. You don’t want to keep on looking for an Allen wrench just to put this on esp. on gigs. All in all it’s still a nice print!

printed perfectly in PLA PRO. I really like the idea of having this for a quick draw if I lose a stick or one breaks. Thanks for the great print.

Hi, love this, got one printed, need it to fit 1.5” tubing on drumrack. Do you have a larger version?

I could do a size variation, but I wont be able to fit it into my schedule right away. I'll put it on the list though.
