Description
A small enclosed credit card sized caddy to hold your MicroSD Cards.
The cards are enclosed when not in use, to keep them clean and safe. I've been using the translucent one pictured daily for the last 6 months. The holder fits neatly into a wallet, being a little thicker than 2 bank cards, but not as thick as 3.
This will hold 8 Micro SD cards, and if you print in translucent PETG you can easily see how many you've got with you.
To open, squeeze gently at the edge indents, and use the notch to pull the internal slide out.
The settings are the end result of my fiddling, with 0.12mm layers, an internal to external path, arachne, and solid infill, to allow the various overhangs to print successfully. An option is to use the text tool in Bambu Studio to personalise, i did this with the translucent one pictured.
Note, Care must be taken removing the parts from the print bed, as if you are not gentle is is easy to break the small ‘spring’ tabs which hold the cards in place, let the bed cool!
I Printed the prototypes and this final version on 3 different X1Cs successfully, so hopefully it should work for others too.
