This is a multi-purpose vase with a minimal and elegant design, created to perfectly house the Bambu Lab LED Kit 001 (official link: https://eu.store.bambulab.com/it/products/led-lamp-kit-001). The thin base is designed to diffuse light evenly, turning the vase into a lamp, pen holder, brush stand or stylish decor. 💡
The project consists of three parts:
- a thin, translucent base that lets the light pass through;
- a closure cap that keeps the LED kit firmly in place, easy to insert with no glue;
- a modern upper part, usable as a vase or storage container.
Printing is simple: only minimal supports are needed for the base, while the other components are support-free.
To make things easier, both the bottom and the top parts are placed together on the same print plate in the default profile. However, if you want to use two different colors for the upper and lower parts, simply print them on separate build plates.
👉 Material tip: for maximum lighting effect, use light-colored or translucent PLA, but thanks to the thin base, you’ll get a nice result with any color. Still, light and translucent filaments are best for light diffusion.

⚡️ Note
This design is originally conceived for the Bambu Lab LED Kit 001 (official link), but the base is wide and versatile enough to house any type of light source—even dim ones like battery-operated candles (example) or any small lamp you have at home!
Update :
In addition to LED Kit 001, GlowPot now supports the KC007 Bambu Lab’s 16‑color RGBW remote puck lights (official link). You need to download and print dedicated bottom cap profile (GlowPot Bottom Cap for remote puck light (KC007))
The thin translucent bottom ensures a pleasant and even light diffusion with all kinds of illuminations, making it perfect for creative customization.
