After the success of my first glider, I’ve gathered your feedback and created this improved version. Experience next-level performance with this 3D-printed delta wing design. Its swept-back wing profile and reinforced nose deliver exceptional stability, enhanced structural integrity, and extended gliding range compared to traditional wide-wing gliders. The delta wing layout offers a large surface area while maintaining a compact footprint.
Key features:
- Fully compatible with my Plane Launcher (Highly recommended)
- Significantly reinforced nose cone and wing roots for improved impact resistance
- Optimized sweptback delta wing shape for superior lift-to-drag ratio
- Weighs only 5.1 g, making it a safe toy and durable.
- Compact footprint makes it ideal for both indoor spaces and outdoors.
Upgrades from Lightweight Glider:
- More balanced lift/weight distribution
- Significantly improved structure integrity (no more weak point near the nose, less floppy wings)
- Refined adapter design for easier assembly
- Similar wing area (~6500 mm2) compared to Lightweight Glider (6800mm2), but with enhanced wing geometry for better gliding performance.
- Compact footprint allows to print multiple gliders per build plate, saving time. (A1 Mini users can now print two at once).
Assembly instruction:

3D print instructions (Please read! especially if you don't use my print profiles)
- Use 100% infill (Important! as it keeps the plane balanced)
- To make the wings stronger and looked better, the first 2 layers need to be printed in 0.1mm layer height, and 0.2mm for the rest. (All configured in my print profiles)
- Make sure your print bed is clean and levelled (Important! otherwise you will get adhesion issue)
- Let the bed completely cool before carefully removing the glider. Start from the nose using a scraper to prevent wing deformation
- Optional - You can print a dual-colour glider even without AMS, just add a pause at the 3rd layer to change colour manually.
Happy Printing!
