I wanted a hard storage case to perfectly fit my Aneng M109 talking, automatic multimeter. This one has room to store the loads in the bottom and the multimeter fits perfectly. It has a hinged top with a locking clasp.
I included three sizes of small dowel rods that are used for the rear hinges. Depending on your printer, and filament type and calibration, one of these sizes should fit.
After print install the hinge in the top using one of the dowel rods, or you can use filament as I did. Just push throught 1.75mm filament and then cut it at both ends close to the hinge. Works great.
To install the top insert the dowels (two needed) that fit and press them in place. Then just put the top upside down over the dowels and press down, as the top hinge has slots to just push the top hinges onto them. Once you do that just swing the top over in place and you can clasp it shut.
Note: I put four of each size dowel road in the print for spares. You only need two of one size (and maybe one more if you use it for the latch hinge). I figured extras take almost no filament or time to print and they may bend or break your first attempts at using them.
