1. Special Note:
This model's optimal aerodynamic efficiency corresponds to an 80*20mm seven-blade fan. If you use a fan of a different specification, the aerodynamic efficiency of this model may be reduced. This model can only be installed on the exhaust side of the fan and cannot be used on the intake side of the fan.
2. Why I specifically made this design
There are many open-source adapter shroud models on MakerWorld, but none claim their design is aerodynamically optimal. Therefore, most designs are based on subjective experience. It wasn't until I saw a post from an uploader asking for help, stating that a 12cm fan connected to a 5cm outlet produced almost no airflow, that I decided to analyze this counter-intuitive phenomenon. I then gathered some data, designed several different types of air guides for testing, optimized the design based on the test results, and finally arrived at the model designed for this project.
