Description
This multi-part Metagross is designed with clean part separation for single-color printing, making it easy for everyone to create a display-worthy version of the iconic Steel/Psychic powerhouse. Each piece has been modeled for structural strength while keeping the final assembly true to Metagross’s heavy, mechanical look.
🖨️ Printing Tips
- AMS-free – Parts are separated (main body, legs, claws, X-face) for straightforward monochrome printing.
- For the main body, use your slicer’s default support type (standard grid or tree supports work fine).
- Some printers might need you to turn off the auxillary/ chamber fan for larger body sections to prevent warping or weak layer adhesion, especially on higher layer heights.
- Recommended print size: 18–22 cm width for a solid, detailed build. Scaling down is possible, but be mindful of thin details on the X-face. You are always free to scale it down. Don't hesitate.
🧩 Assembly Notes
- Snap-fit or glue assembly — I recommend gluing the claws and legs for durability.
- You can slightly adjust leg angles for custom stances.
- The X-face is a separate piece for easier printing and optional painting.
