Design Intent and Inspiration

Initially, I downloaded and printed a recessed cheese tissue box from the MW store. While its core design concept deeply inspired me — traditional spring-loaded tissue boxes often jam when full, whereas a recessed structure uses its own weight to naturally press down, allowing smooth tissue extraction even when only a few sheets remain, perfectly addressing a common everyday issue — I found in practice that its structure was too flimsy and lacked sufficient texture, making it difficult to blend with modern home decor styles

Design Process and Core Highlights

Iterative Development of the Basic Structure

To optimize user experience and visual aesthetics, I spent a week systematically learning Fusion 360 on Bilibili before embarking on the design of this recessed tissue box with a curved slot. After another week of rigorous refinement, parameter tuning, and detailed optimization, I finally achieved a fully parametric design for the model, allowing flexible size adjustments (from large to small, or tall to long) to meet specific needs, effortlessly accommodating various tissue sizes and diverse usage scenarios

Innovative Upgrade for Personalized Customization

After the basic model was finalized, I continuously pondered how to imbue it with the "personalized soul of 3D printing". One late night, a burst of inspiration led me to integrate magnetic structures on both sides of the tissue box, innovatively enabling the free interchangeability of magnetic accessories:

To print the magnetically interchangeable 3D cute pet fridge magnets, you will need two 10*3mm magnets

• Can be freely combined with various fridge magnets for decoration, including personalized accessories such as 3D printed cute pets and cartoon characters
• To ensure magnetic stability, multiple magnetic structure solutions were rigorously tested, and after two days of optimization, the current design was finalized, ensuring that 3D printed cute pets and other accessories remain securely attached and do not fall off

• It can be used directly with various flat fridge magnets from the MW store. If you wish to use 3D stereo fridge magnets, you can directly download and print the models I have uploaded from my homepage (I will update the link on this page once the 3D cute pet accessories are fully updated, making them easy for everyone to download). Alternatively, you can refer to the magnet slot dimensions in the attachment and merge models in Bambu Studio, with a recommended tolerance of 0.3mm
