Description

Hey everyone, it’s Ludo here! I decided to give Xiao’s Mask from Genshin Impact a try, even though I haven’t played the game in a while. He’s such a cool character, and I couldn’t resist printing his mask after I printed the Jade Spear.

I hope you all have a great time printing this model! I’m sure it’ll be a hit with all the Xiao fans out there, just like it was with me.

II put together the two horns with some glue. Just make sure you glue them in the right place, they should be flush with the structure.

I lightly sanded the pieces (especially the horns and teeth) since they’re printed on really short supports.

Hello I'm a beginner in 3D printing, but I somehow managed to print the mask by splitting it in half in Bambu Studio and adding tree supports. I could have done it without splitting, but for my printer, the Anycubic Kobra 3, I think it would have been too much. I also made a joint, but it didn't work out properly, so I would leave it out next time and glue it together with adhesive. I also think the reason it didn't work for others is because the mask had no supports at all just my guess as a beginner I used PLA for the mask in case anyone has questions I hope I was able to help with my print if anyone wants to print this as well For me, the mask fits almost perfectly (I'm 180cm tall), but I might scale it up for taller people, but I think it's already very similar to the original part

Bed Adhesion Issue:I have tried printing it 5 times with different filaments and it always comes out wrong

I’m sorry to hear that, i didn’t have any problems printing it using BAMBULAB PLA, perhaps the printing bed was dirty?

Bed Adhesion Issue:even with a clean bed, adhesive, and a new spool of filament the first layer wouldn’t print properly causing the pieces to misprint.
