Description
These two stackable baskets fit perfectly into the Tunze Comline Nanofilter 3161 for reeftanks.
Each basket can hold a different filtermedium, i have carbon* and zeolite** in mine. Before i made the baskets, I was using mesh filter bags that quickly accumulated fine debris. These Baskets make switching the media a breeze, as there is no need to clean the stinky mesh bags anymore.
Can be used with or without the blue filter foam beneath. Construction allows for enough room for filter fleece on top of the baskets.
* does not work with the Red sea carbon, as it is too fine.
**Works well with the FM carbon and zeolite
