Print Information
- All parts are printed in 0.2 mm layer height. There are exceptions for the following parts:
- The door is printed in 0.12mm layer height to improve the thread for the door handle
- The threaded part of the door handle is printed in 0.08mm for a better quality
- Support needed only for small areas on the tape holder mount in the case and the tape holder. You can print it with a single filament and break off the support or you can print it with a support release layer like I do. I print the parts from PLA and the support interface layer with PETG. PETG can be easily detached from PLA. This gives you a nice surface.
- The tape holder was placed on the printing platform in this way for better stability. This prevents the holder from breaking on the case
- Support blockers are attached to the hinges of the case so that the hinges can be printed better.
- Internal Project settings for X1C available. These is the printer I used to print and test the parts.
