Description

Bring Gotham’s Dark Knight to life with this fully functional, 3D-printable utility belt—perfect for cosplay, display, or your next mission.

Modeled after the iconic utility belt seen in The Dark Knight trilogy, this functional, wearable recreation is a must-have for any Batman fan. The belt features working pouches and cylinders, as well as a functional buckle.

Assembly Instructions

Recommended Filament: PLA or PETG (I printed mine in PLA)

Materials Needed:

  • 3D-printed parts
  • ½-inch black elastic
  • 5 mm × 4 mm neodymium magnets (×8)
  • Superglue
  • Hot glue (optional)

Assembly Steps

1: Print enough of the links to go all the way around your waist, connecting to the back link and the buckle. Thread the elastic through each link, ending at the buckle.

2: For the pouches, align the hinges of the lid and main piece and gently push a piece of raw filament through. Then, place the magnets into their designated slots and secure them in place with superglue.

3: For the cylinders, simply glue the magnets into the slots.

4: Both the pouches and cylinders have clips that attach to a large link piece. Optionally, add a drop of hot glue inside each clip to keep them more securely in place.

5: Enjoy your new, shiny Dark Knight utility belt!

UPDATE 11/14/2025: I have updated the hinge on the pouches, and now it is much more reliable. It now requires a piece of raw filament, but it won't break as easily and is easier to assemble.

note: the images for the pouches are now somewhat inaccurate, as they show the old pouch hinge, but it doesn't affect overall what the pouch looks like. The hinge is smaller and better hidden than before.
